I have been having a summer that is filled with happiness and life. How about you? The first quarter of this year was very challenging in my personal life. Etsy Store Updates

So, it looks like I'm not going to be participating in a craft fair this winter. It's just as well really, I'm very busy working on some exciting stuff! However, this does leave me with a bunch of awesome yet orphaned finished objects. If you're looking for a gift, why not shop handmade? I just added a bunch of great items to my Etsy store. My New Etsy Store

Aside from blogging, my main focus is crochet design. I love designing new patterns and bringing my ideas to life with my hooks. I get bored quickly if I have to make the same thing over and over again. Some folks truly enjoy making many items and building a business selling lots of hats, scarves, amigurumi, etc and I'm happy to leave all of that hard work to them :)

That said, I do end up with a lot of high quality finished objects leftover from both designing and from working up others' patterns to blog about. Thus I have opened an Etsy store. I'm not so much looking to make a huge profit as I am to recoup materials costs, re-home finished objects, and expand my brand.

I hope opening this store will help connect me to crochet admirers who would like to adopt my FOs. Etsy is pretty saturated with crochet items at this point so I'm going to have to be creative to get noticed. Since I'm new to Etsy I'd love any advice from those of you who are seasoned sellers. Crochet Sample Sale

Hello, friends! It's the time of year when I sell all of the finished objects that haven't already been sold or given as gifts during 2013. All of the items you see here were handmade by me. Some of these items were made as samples for the writing of my own original patterns and some were made because I wanted to try out the patterns of others. A few items were free-handed, meaning I invented the designs myself but did not write patterns for them. I know many of you have probably started your holiday shopping and I want to give you this opportunity to buy handmade. All proceeds will go towards more materials so that I may continue to grow in my blossoming and successful crochet design career.
