Antique Store Crochet Treasure Trove

The other day I went to a local antique store. I like to collect bottles and keys, so looking through the vintage and antique offerings is always thrilling to me. What I didn't expect to find there was crochet... and lots of it! Seriously, everywhere I turned I found more examples of gorgeous crochet. I took about a jillion pictures and I'd like to share them with you today. Feast your eyes on the treasures I found!

  1. Love this post! I rarely find crochet in the thrift and antique stores here in San Francisco, although I always look for it. I have much better look when I visit my family in Tucson or Ohio.

    1. Thank you! I think I found so much of it because I was juuust outside Seattle city limits rather than in the city. I think there's more crochet present in more rural areas.

  2. Did you buy any of it? I have found some antique laces pieces at second hand shops, like Volunteers of America and Good will, but I have also seen items at an antique store in West Virginia

    1. No, I did not purchase any. I was sorely tempted, but I'm on a complete "fiber diet" until I go through at least half of my yarn stash. It's amazing to think about all of the work that went into those detailed doilies, isn't it?
